All who come to me I keep. All who leave I set free.
But ever do I stand against those who carry not my key.

Eleanor “Rae” Bone was one of Gerald Gardner’s original High Priestesses,
and it is through her that many of the British Gardnerians trace their
lineage. She was a quiet woman and published very little about her life in
the Craft yet she was recognized as one of its leaders and Elders.

When informed that a building was to be erected atop the cemetery where
Gerald Gardner’s bones were interred, Rae raised enough cash to have the
remains moved to another cemetery where they are to this day.

She will be sorely missed. May her passage
be easy and may she return to us again.

Merry meet,
and merry part,
and merry meet again.
